Is COCOON FDA approved?

Yes. The 510K number for COCOON is K173046. 

What are its safety features?

COCOON’s generator is wrapped with lead to prevent radiation leakage. The safety lock key also provides unwanted radiation exposure. 

Is COCOON compatible with any sensors?

COCOON is compatible with any kind of detector, sensor, film, PSP, etc. 

COCOON turns off on its own after a few minutes. Is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. To save battery power, COCOON turns itself off automatically after three minutes. The time in which it shuts itself off can adjusted in the “Power Save Time” option in the settings menu. 

COCOON should be positioned around two inches (five cm) away from the patient. 

How should it be cleaned?

COCOON is UV coated, making it easy to clean, but it is not waterproof so make sure to clean it with a substance that is not a liquid. We recommend using small amounts of sanitizer on a rag and using that to rub the surface.

Yes, the ADX6000FB/s is compatible with all detectors. 

FAQ for the DX3000

Is the DX3000 FDA approved?

Yes. The 510K number for the DX3000 is K133007. 

How long does it take to charge the battery?

It takes about one hour to fully charge the battery. On a full charge, it can take around 250 to 300 X-rays. 

Is the DX3000 compatible with all detectors?

It is compatible with any kind of detector, sensor, film, PSP, etc.

Is the ADX4000W FDA approved?

Yes. The 510K number for the ADX4000W is K134055. 

Up to how many images can it hold?

It has 16GB of memory, so it can store up to 1,000 images. 

Do I need to buy software with the ADX4000W?

Embedded within the ADX4000W is its own operating system, so buying software is not necessary. It already has software that allows the user to transfer images wirelessly or via USB. 

Is it touch screen?

Yes, it is. It has a graphical UI screen that allows users to tap icons to configure and adjust settings.
