Yes, it is normal. To save battery power, COCOON turns itself off automatically after three minutes. The time in which it shuts itself off can adjusted in the “Power Save Time” option in the settings menu.
COCOON should be positioned around two inches (five cm) away from the patient.
COCOON is UV coated, making it easy to clean, but it is not waterproof so make sure to clean it with a substance that is not a liquid. We recommend using small amounts of sanitizer on a rag and using that to rub the surface.
